I miss it so much

Reels is terrible. I just want to search “Indian food and culture” and scroll through and learn from real people but stupid reels just focuses on making fun of street food or showing influencer travel vids.

Every day I miss it. Not the dances and trends but the search function. It was such a quick way to travel down rabbit holes and learn new things.

I’m one of the ppl who deleted the app. I’ve tried everything. VPN, changed App Store location, iPhone region / time zone - all of it. No luck. And the browser is so clunky and doesn’t allow me to use the search function or view the comments easily

I just watched a video on how to restore it. Go to safari and type tiktok.com. Log in. Then they did something that put the app on their home screen. Sorry I can't remember it all.

Please just delete your Facebook and Instagram accounts. Reels is garbage, as you know. TikTok will never be the same, maybe for the next couple of months it will be ok, but seriously, not for much longer.

Find a friend who has it. Tell them to extract the app. Airdrop it to your phone and install it

Not sure if this applies to u, but I saw someone on TT say they had to remove themselves from the family share account for the steps mentioned above to work.
