I just noticed that when I change my VPN to Canada all of my old content comes back to be exactly what I want to see or what it was like pre-ban. When I use US based servers it’s all generic content I’m not interested in.
For example I’m really into astrology and can’t see any content when I’m using US server but when I switch to Canada it’s the first thing in my feed….
It was like this for me as soon as it came back online. Boring, generic content. I searched for a couple political tiktoks i had seen recently, and they were gone. Couldn't find any content with a pro Palestine angle. I realized it had become a trump propaganda machine, deleted, and haven't looked back. I recommend everyone do the same.
The ban was fake. TikTok didn’t have to shut down. Everyone on this platform who thinks Trump saved it for free speech got, and is getting, played by Trump and the Chinese government. Biden said he would t enforce the ban and let Trump weigh in. TikTok shits down for 12 hours. They didn’t have to. They could have even just left the app up while it was pulled from the app stores. Then they came back and said Trump saved them. Wake up.
