What happened to the TikTok we knew in 2018-2020

Back then it was probably one of the best apps ever. Back when there was VSCO Girls and EGirls rivalries, people were way more entertaining and creative, and Joey Nero was on the FYP dominating the app. Back then TikTok was unique and it was awesome.

But fast forward today and now a lot of that stuff is gone and 90% of the FYP is stuff like clips from movies, phone games with family guy playing on the top, and a bunch of uncreative crap. It basically became a Second YouTube

Where did it all go? What caused it to change?
