TikTok being strict

i get flagged for calling someone a degen but people can openly push and support dangerous content lol

The reason why I’m scared to even comment is because then if I comment my thoughts and opinions about certain topics then it gets removed.

I had four comments removed in the last 2 days and they weren't mean or trollish or anything. Just regular comments. I hit a pill and they are usually returned, but why the hell are they removed? And like others have said, you can report somebody for literally threatening you or someone else, and they send you a note back saying that they did not break any rules.

This is why although I watch TikTok for entertainment like a lot of people, deep down I could really care less whether they are banned or not. They just don't moderate at all effectively. And it's frustrating.

I think the report feature on tiktok is practically useless

I got flagged for saying someone had horse teeth. (The biggest veneers I have ever seen. Turned a beautiful face into a face behind a big giant set of teeth.)

It is absurd how absoutlely ridiculous that system is. I have had times where I get flagged 8 comments in a row for god knows why, appeal, they get reinstated.

From what I hear, a majority of the bans are coming from other people reporting what is said. The death threats, the left movements, and things like that seem to not apply to the bans. However, telling people they are silly or delusional results in immediate bans.

Yep. That’s how it goes. Been live streaming on TikTok for 2 years now and that’s how it’s been for a while. I got banned my second time ever live streaming as a false report, but as I’ve grown on the platform it happens less often. Still always happens for annoying reasons
