Update or No?

what would be the reason to NOT update? Im curious.

Don’t update , if you update it your app will have the new Elon musk TikTok version.

I updated both TikTok and my phone and everything is fine. I had some anxiety about it as well, but everything is fine.

Everyone is too paranoid to update things now. It works fine, actually better. The videos were restarting like Instagram if I accidentally swiped, and it seems fixed for the most part.

I updated and noticed some funny format changes. The TikTok store disappeared for me, it crashed randomly, I had some issues making content. It also asked me to choose things I was interested in seeing, as if I were making a new account. I just bypassed that screen. I force quit the app a few times, and it went back to normal after about an hour.

I probably ended up on a list for anti-trump/anti-government reposts.

I updated because I felt like things were getting glitchy and laggy and the update helped

I actually understand your reservation for not wanting to download due to who knows what issues it could have since it's the new and improved TT. I don't just jump in and trust it either, so here I am trying to research if it's a good idea or not lol
