For probably 2-3 months my fyp has been about 70% political content. I don’t like political content, right or left, and almost immediately swipe to next. However, political stuff keeps popping up. Any way to reduce, or eliminate, political stuff?
I’ve been able to reduce it by finding specific topics and watching several videos all the way through. It’s hard since the algorithm changes very fast. I find myself having to do it often. I even go through and spend time on videos I’ve saved or shared just to get the algorithm to change some.
I would say to not engage with not commenting or like and try to search non political stuff as possible
Search for the type of content you wanna see more of on your fyp and engage with it, hope this helps.

Use the "Not interested" button?💀
Immediately scroll. My fyp is all misandry. Deleted it today taking a break.
Push “Not Interested” and do not watch any political video more than 5 seconds.
Avoid US, and US sponsored media sources.
Just make sure to not comment. I kept swiping immediately and eventually it went away. You just gotta train the algorithm.
