TikTok has been so full of hate comments on just about every post. Are people getting meaner and more savage to each other or have they always been a**holes on the internet? The amount of absolutely vile comments is insane.
For context, a woman talking about struggling with her sobriety had a comment telling her to drink a beer to “take the edge” off. Not to mention all the fat shaming and other hateful comments.
I feel like that's been the norm since the coming of the internet forums.
Yeah, some people should've been thrown away with the condom. No shame, no sympathy, entitled, etc.
“Every post” would imply that every post is getting hate comments and this is not true. You perceive what you are sensitive to, and your way of generalizing is going to make you believe your judgments.
The ONLY reason tiktok is getting meaner, is simply because all the good comments are being striked down and removed.
Anybody defending anyones rights, or defending women from rape comments, or even something as simple as the word "Disgusting" gets taken down.
Leave the platform, and never return.

Yes, but; more than likely many of those comments are from Russian and Korean troll farms. Their governments have military intelligence units dedicated to trolling Americans and creating as much hate speech as possible. Then feed the fires by calling in reinforcements when people react or engage with them.

This is funny because a lot of mine "politely a bit mean" comments have been taken down. I haven't seen a lot of hate comments on my FYP thought. Just the usual occasional troll with hundreds of people calling them out.
I’ve always had bad interactions on TikTok. Comments actually got slightly nicer after I changed my picture from a picture of myself to a picture of a cat. Always felt like people were meaner to me when they knew I was a woman.
Ppl hate me on there at times. Mainly yt males. Im a yt woman and i feel like i piss everyone off. I get along best with blk women on tiktok and mainly women in general. But oh well, im ok with it. It aint sexy time, mkay. Chinese ppl are very nice. Hispanic ppl, very nice. Ppl go crazy on lives and can be aggressive as hell. Ive never come at ppl aggressively on tiktok. I dont know if they seek fights on live bc they find it exciting? I find it awful. Ppl can def be d-cks but oh well. Keep it moving. I think the money begging brings up resentment in hosts. Makes me not even want to go on some ppl’s lives
