Weird compliment

Former TikTok moderator here.

These are the sort of comments that I would approve, then get audited for, by the Policy Expert. I have no idea who they were but it’s only one person in a different state. They aren’t culturally in tune with anything taking place at the moment in America or worldwide.

To them, this comment means you are calling someone gross. To me, you’re probably looking at someone with a muscular body. It could also be a female leg, because some of us are into the thick girls. I would explain this to Policy via text, and then get a “denial appeal” a week later. By that time, my moderations score has already gotten me assigned a chat with my manager and a threat of being fired.

Most moderators aren’t like me. They prefer not to fight, and they also need the job, so they remain silent.

I think it depends on what type of compliment people make.

I get you meant this as a compliment but you have to understand how someone could misconstrue that as an insult too. Like it’s really not that surprising
