Why are there mostly just kids on tiktok, I get called unc. I just feel weird and like a creep. Like I'm watching children at a elementary school.

The demographic for tik tok has always skewed younger. That’s why most of the comments are dumb brain rot. Then the older people copy the dumb phrases and emojis and it’s a never ending vicious cycle of idiocy
Are you watching children at an elementary school? I assume no....so that's not what is going on. But as long as you're maintaining yourself and not acting in any inappropriate manner, why would it be creepy? I ignore messages that aren't directly related to my content or the conversation to avoid that area. Just be to the point, and if you ever feel like it's too much that one is messaging you, then you can block them or ask them to stop and explain they shouldn't be talking that much to you anyway. It doesn't have to be creepy, the only one that can make it creepy is you. because the kid isn't talking to you to be creepy.... It IS possible believe it or not to be a positive role model for kids and not be a weirdo. Also Unc is short for Uncle , yes. But it's a compliment in modern slang words. They look up to you. Be a role model. And you won't be looked at like a creep.
The algorithm brings you back to the types of videos you watch all the way through and the type of videos you like. I immediately scroll when there are kids (because I don't have kids and don't have interest in watching them on tiktok) and don't really feel like I see a whole lot of young people at all. Try searching more adult content creators and following them/interacting to reset your algorithm.
always ask their age first before starting convo, but keep in mind that some people lie about their age so even if they say they're 43 you'll need to be on guard
I had a friend that said he thought TikTok was 99% trans content, I had to explain to him that he made that happen by watching, commenting and liking that content. I showed him my algorithm and went through like 50 videos and not a single one. Lmao he self exposed himself.
I love pokemon and gaming. So there are kids around. I always watch what I say and don’t have personal conversations unless I know they are an adult. I talk about common interests but on discord channels or the live itself. There are people my age who stream. One of them calls himself unk all the time.
Yea I’m 30 and feel way too old for TikTok I definitely prefer instagram and Reddit. Too many kids on TikTok it’s cringe !🥴
