Are people on this app actually stupid?

I’m sorry but I have tried making some friends and I just can’t be bothered to try anymore. Like why do you immediately ask what my name is when it’s on my profile are you stupid? And it’s the same with my age like it’s literally the first thing you see when you click on my profile. And that’s not to mention questions. Like I’m sorry I know China doesn’t have a lot of access to western media but if you actually believed that every American lives in a suburban house with a pool and trampoline and golden retriever then there is no point in trying to connect with you cause that’s just stupid and ignorant and you clearly don’t actually care about other countries because how the fuck could you believe that?? And probably the question that pisses me off the most is “is it night where you are?” WHAT DO YOU THINK ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID? CHINA AND AMERICA ARE LITERALLY ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE GLOBE USE YOUR GODDAMN BRAIN!!!!! And even if you don’t know that’s something you can just look up IN YOUR CLOCK APP THAT EVERY SINGLE PHONE HAS THAT YOU’RE TEXTING ME ON!!!!

Yeah, I don't think this app is for you.

Calm down buddy, I believe many of them just ask some stupid questions to start the conversation. And people ask your name and age because most Chinese don’t even put their true name and age on profile. It’s just a cultural difference..

No, they're not stupid because if your name is in English, some people won't be able to read it because Xiaohongshu doesn't auto-translate profile names and bios. It's easier for them to ask you than to make them take a screenshot and run it through a translator.

if you actually believed that every American lives in a suburban house with a pool and trampoline and golden retriever then there is no point in trying to connect with you cause that’s just stupid and ignorant and you clearly don’t actually care about other countries because how the fuck could you believe that??

What the hell does this even mean? They don't owe us anything. Their perception of our lifestyle has nothing to do with how much they care about other countries. Many Americans also had a misguided perception of their culture and lifestyle. That door swung both ways.

It's entirely possible for there to be daylight in both countries at the same time at some point during 24-hour cycle, especially if latitudes are different. Again, it's easier for them to ask you than to make them get off the app and search for it. They're looking to actually interact with you, dude. If you met someone new IRL and they asked you questions about your country and culture, would you tell them to just pull their phone out and look it up? C'mon, man. They're looking for a real, meaningful connection with an actual person.

Your post came off as irrationally angry. I'm gonna chalk it up to you probably having a bad day because it's really not that deep but if it really does affect you that much, then cut it out of your life and go do other things that make you happy.

The mass anti-CCP propaganda was always brainwashing Chinese people that every American lives in a suburban house with big yard and a pool earning $200k per annum as minimum with free education and free Medicare so many of those Chinese are really curious about how American actual live like.

Making the Jump from TikTok to Rednote(Xiaohongshu)? Here’s What You Need to Know

So you’re thinking about switching (or at least dabbling) from TikTok to **Rednote** (aka Xiaohongshu)? Here’s a quick rundown on what to expect and how to adapt: 1. **Different Vibe** * **TikTok** is all about short, snappy videos—dances, trends, and memes. * **Rednote** leans more toward lifestyle tips, product reviews, and personal stories. Think mini-blogs rather than just quick clips. 2. **Less is More—or Is It?** * On **TikTok**, you can go viral with a 15-second masterpiece. * On **Rednote**, people actually read captions and appreciate detailed posts. Don’t be afraid to write a bit more and share personal insights. 3. **Engage with the Community** * Responding to comments is key on both platforms, but **Rednote** users expect a friendlier, more helpful approach. Focus on real interaction rather than just racking up views. 4. **Use Relevant Hashtags & Keywords** * **TikTok** hashtags can be trendy and fleeting. * **Rednote** hashtags and keywords should be more targeted, especially if you’re reviewing products or sharing how-to tips. 5. **Be Ready for Culture Shifts** * The **Rednote** audience often loves beauty, travel, fashion, and “real-life” hacks. * If you’re pivoting from dance challenges, consider experimenting with lifestyle or review content to fit the platform’s style. 6. **Quality Over Quantity** * While **TikTok** can reward frequent posting, **Rednote** might favor fewer, well-thought-out posts that really resonate. High-quality visuals and genuine storytelling go a long way. Got questions about Rednote? Drop ’em below—always happy to help a fellow content creator make the jump!

The ban isn't really about privacy concerns

Why exactly? You and me know why America is banning tiktok... They can't control the narrative their like they do with Facebook or Instagram YouTube. etc The genocide in Gaza was being shown in its full without any kind of censorship... And daddy israel doesn't like that so the AIPAC who's holding the American politicians by the balls... Forced them into banning the app.... It's not about privacy or any of that.... Remember edward Snowden.? I rest my case.

Y'all know why Trump suddenly became "pro-TikTok" right?

Say it with me....because he and his oligarch buddies are getting worried Americans are waking up to the truth about the anti-China propaganda BS in Red Note and will either demand better conditions or go full socialist.
