How come when I partake in trends, my videos get flagged for unoriginal content?

So everytime there's a trend, I want to participate in it. But everytime I do I only get 300 views and an "ineligible for the for you feed" notice... it's so annoying because other people doing the trend get millions of views. But I can't?
