does anybody else agree that putting restrictions on a 13+ app (tiktok) is stupid

this may seem real biased but i really do need an answer . There so many people under the age of 16 on tiktok and they could just easily fake their age ,,, i also find it quite stupid thatfor a 13+ app,, there's restrictions?? like you literally can't dm people and it limifs ur comments on videos personally i'm 14 and i had 5.6K followers on tiktok. i didn't need to verify my age at all until i said i was 14 ONCE in dms 😭 sorry this is just so stupid right after i said that they got rid of my dms privilege and people besides my mutuals could comment on my videos i find this. super dumb because there's also a ton of popular creators who are 13 so it's also kinda on me for saying i'm 14 but . i think this is super annoying especially since i've had all of these privileges up until yesterday. people can easily fake their age on tiktok and get away with it anyways this will probably be the only post i make in this community,, sorry i had to rant a little bit because ive worked for over a year to get my followers
