Like count randomly stops

I posted a video on one of my accounts (account a) and then logged into one of my other accounts (account b). When I open the app and check my likes from account b, I'll see a number and then the next time I check, it's at the same number. After I check how the video is doing from the other account, my likes don't go up. It like senses in checking up on it and h there no longer gets interactions. Why does this happen?
