Weren't you able to use TikTok without an account before the supposed "ban"?
Wasn't the government's main concern about TikTok that China was trying to steal our information, and now you have to give your information to use the app at all? Hmm...

Yeah people are stupid
Nah that changed like a year ago. I used to send my friend TikTok’s through text bc he didn’t wanna make an account and randomly he just couldn’t view them anymore
probably because tiktok is about to be partially owned by the US and stealing our information is apparently ok if the US is doing it.
You’ve needed an account to watch tiktok videos for awhile, like many months. My friends didnt have tiktok accounts and they wouldnt be able to view videos i sent them
If you delete the characters in the link after the ? You can view it without an account
you can use it on the internet without an account
I don't think that was ever a real concern, I think it was a fake concern meant to fool people who didn't care enough to do any research for themselves. Chinese video games running Chinese kernel level anti-cheats have a higher potential to cause harm than TikTok ever did, and literally no mainstream media outlet, or even 50k+ follower social media user has ever brought this up.
