Is X(Twitter) still being used by real people?
Couldn't find a subreddit for X, and this still seemed active.
Decided to try and grow my following on X (Twitter) I have a TikTok and YouTube channel that is growing well at a reasonable pace. Been posting on x for a while now and pay the subscription fee, but I literally get 1-4 "impressions" on anything I post.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong!
Tried engaging with a lot of people in my niche, but the comments don't seem to get any views even though they have a 100,000+ followers.
Starting to suspect most people with a large following are either already famous in there own right, or have some way to get bot followers, as the content they churn out is rubbish and no one engages with it like they should with a following that size.
Even the famous people with millions of followers, if I am first to comment something relavent and interesting in response to there posts it gets hardly any impressions. I'm thinking that most famous people are just using chat GPT now to generate regular content for them, putting no actual thought into it. Someone else even probably does this for them them via Chat GPT.
Is it an abandoned apocalyptic wasteland on X (Twitter) and is 99% of the content is AI generated and not one really uses it any more? Or is there something I'm missing here.
Was hoping to grow my following, but feels like I'm wasting my time on it talking to bots.
