Well, there’s are a lot of reasons why anybody is on our FYP. Are we in the same area, do we have the same interest for just the randomness of FYP. The question is when you started this new account, did you do it on the same phone as your old ones? Are you still connected to the old accounts? Example would be that I have two accounts on TikTok. I can go back-and-forth between the two. One is very serious about Domestic Violence and the main account is me being silly. Sometimes I’ll see followers from each account on my FYP.
I’m pretty sure the only way you can avoid it is to have an account on a different device.
But even with that, if somebody shows up on your FYP, you can either say not interested or just scroll by. Your randomly showing up on theirs as well . Your algorithm is only gonna change based on who you interact with and what you’re watching. If that makes any sense. You’re gonna find people in the suggested creators, and you just cancel them out. You don’t have to interact with those people. It doesn’t mean that you’re on their FYP either because like I said, it can depend on how close you live to that person.
I see a lot of people popping up on my main account because there is a connection to advocating for Domestic Violence but I don’t want that to be what kind of stuff shows up on my main account all the time.
