Popular content creators-do you guys write down a script before making a video?

Just trying to see what all goes into making a video that potentially goes viral for popular creators on the app. When you come up with an idea, do you write down a script before each video you make, or do you just hit record a few times until you get it right? And also do you read off said script while doing the video or do you rehearse the lines before then? Seems that every funny/popular video I’ve seen seems well timed and edited to fit. From doing the voice overs like you’re actually talking to someone else or just completely not stuttering at all. I’m gonna use an example like trerags. His vids always pop off and they seem well rehearsed! Probably one of my favorite creators on the platform.
