Yeah, I swear, facebook, YouTube and TikTok have THE strictest terms of service out of any other app/website on the internet.

I think they flag the word “trans,” maybe especially if someone reports the comment. I got a comment violation for saying I think trans people have the right to exist :/

Anyway I posted about my comment they said couldn't be restored .. they I emailed tik tok legal and their support teams and they restored it . Not telling you to do the same.

I guess bc it isn't Facebook and people don't usually use TikTok (or shouldn't) to start conversations on sensitive topics or argue about stuff in the comments (that's what FB is for). TikTok just seems like a happier place; a community. For better or worse, I spend alot of time on it, and when I read through the comments on a video I can pick out the 'facebookers'

Since they started kissing Trump's ass they'll remove any comment that has "trans" in it anywhere including words like "transformers" and "transylvania." I got my first strike for using the word transaction.

I've also reported several instances of the n word and f slur and they no longer consider those violations.

I've mostly jumped to reels and shorts. Google and Meta are terrible too but they're less shitty on the moderation front.
