Age restriction appeal

I’ve had my TikTok account for around 4 years now and all of a sudden I’ve been age restricted so I can’t use dms at all. TikTok has randomly decided to think I’m under 16 for some reason but I don’t even post or comment on videos so I don’t get where this has come from. I submitted an appeal 2 days ago using the passport method and I haven’t had anything back yet. How long does this take as according to TikTok I was supposed to have my results back a day ago. Will it even work?? And if it doesn’t is there any other way to be un age restricted?
