21+ no kids is not a flex

There’s a trend going on of 21 year olds as well as 30 year olds flexing that they don’t have kids. Parents are getting butt hurt about it and I’m just like why? When I was 21 I wasn’t thinking about having kids I just wanted to go party and have fun. Not only that some millennials and gen z’s have been vocal that they don’t want kids and that’s ok it’s their own personal choice. But the comments I’ve seen are just crazy. Some asking women if it’s because “they cant keep a man” or they’re going to hell if they choose to not have kids.

What do you guys think about this?

Married, mid 30’s with no kids. Best decision ever.

i think it’s crazy people expect everyone to want kids young. not only do some people simply not want kids, a lot of people just aren’t financially stable enough to support a child.

My 26yo daughter has said from the time she was about 13 or 14 that she doesn’t want to have kids. Her bf of 3+ years is on the same page. She has medical and mental health conditions that she refuses to risk passing down. She made a very responsible decision at a very young age regarding this. They have both stated though that someday when they get married they may consider adopting. My 24yo daughter and her bf of 6+ years eventually would like to have children someday after they get married. If someone doesn’t want to have kids then they just don’t. Nobody needs to be badmouthing them because of a decision they made for their own life.

When I was 16 I didn’t want kids and was vocal and was told you’ll change your mind one day…now I’m in my 30s still don’t want kids. lol 😆

my wife and I are in our 40s no kids. Having kids you don't want is possibly the worst thing in the world for a child, early on we decided that with all of this *gestures wildly at everything* going on, it would be reprehensible to force a child to deal with our circumstances, if the opportunity to give them a life of their own didn't pan out. Between the post-911 world, the '08 recession, the pandemic, 2nd term for DJT, the Biden Administration + Friends, the woke movement, children raised by tablets and AI, it seems the only thing our offspring would have certainly, is a meaningless existence as a scared, poorly educated consumer with adolescent brain rot. No, we don't regret our decision even though it means ending our family lines...the world does not deserve the fruits of our love, the cost is too high. Mark my words, children will be the conduit for advertiser manipulation so quickly and easily as Meta pushes your kids advertisements or suggestions for snacks based on Mom's Instacart receipt, you won't even see it coming because we're past the tipping point already.

Why is it just them? One would think that the 22 to 29 year olds would be in the same demographic and doing the same thing…

Clapper the app that advertise it as being a bit similar to TikTok which I don't think is 18 and you can say what you want
