Someone is pretending to be me on TikTok
They created a profile with my picture and a derogatory username. I’m a teacher and it’s incredibly concerning. I have reported it to tik tok but have not heard back. What else can I do to fix this?

So many imposters. Not to be a bummer but many have reported stolen identity. TT doesn't have it all together. Keep on them.

Probably a student. Look at the grades in the class for a short list of suspects

i’m not a teacher so i wouldn’t know if this is the best route but could you bring it to your higher ups as a warning that it’s not you? i do know teachers’ jobs are at risk if they post anything online that could look bad, so it seems reasonable to me to bring it to them as an fyi before anything gets reported to them. tiktok’s report function is kind of awful so i dont know how reliable they’ll be for getting the account taken down…
