It sucked so much... I was really excited to to a live stream and talk about a podcast that I'm writing. I was getting so good views but the 3 ppl joined. They spammed the comment section and wouldn't leave. I just tried to ignore them and they see if I could kick them (but I couldn't figure it out). So I ended the stream. Is this what doing live is like? Getting spammed by jerks? Is there anything you can do?
I would say have a friend moderate for you, if they’re willing to!

You can block them
You can choose to mute them for a brief period of time, mute them for the entire live or block them altogether. Muting just means they won’t be able to comment for however long you choose.

It takes time to have viewers that will come in your live. Just because you did well on a video or have great traffic on your content doesn’t mean it will transfer over in a live stream. I mod for someone who is verified and huge on other platforms but when they did live streams on TikTok it didn’t seem to go as well as they hoped. It takes time and yes sometimes you’ll only have a few people in your live but eventually more will come. It’s all about how much you want to do it and how much time you put into it. I agree with others about asking a friend to moderate for you! Good luck!
