TikTok comments

I don't know if I can actually post this here, but I desperately need to rant.

Is it just me or are the comments way worse than they used to be? My phone was broken for a couple weeks so I wasn't on TikTok for a while, but coming back to it has been depressing. I've never seen more hate and stupidity and it's driving me insane. Even on perfectly normal videos will I find some bullshit where someone's trying to fight over the smallest thing and then everyone agrees with them. And then there's the surplus of Jesus comments?? I'll try to read through the comments and they're ALL different variations of the "Jesus loves you" stuff. And then people are also openly being racist, anti vax, and showing their blatant support for facism. It's absolutely wild. I know this stuff has always been on there, but usually it's contained to its own little corners. Now it's absolutely everywhere and it's kinda depressing. At this point I would happily read reddit comments instead.
