What has happened to the FYP recently?

I alway get the weirdest videos on my TikTok FYP, so this is why I’m very picky when it comes to TikTok videos.

I was just coming up here to ask is anyone getting a bunch of news and random posts and old posts all of sudden since yesterday..

This happens to me when I doomscroll for like 2 days in a row and i guess TT just runs out of good recommendations lol. I usually just give it a break for a day or two and it goes back to normal :)
