My account was hacked and i no longer have access. All of my financial information is compromised. TikTok is not responding to my ticket. I have a few questions and need advice.

First, i ordered something off the TikTok shop. Yesterday at 4:30AM my account was hacked and all access stolen. They changed my username, password, email, phone number. Later yesterday, i received the item i ordered. Then today i randomly received a refund for this item. Could this be related to the hack?

Second, because tiktok is not responding to my ticket i tried putting pressure on them by tagging them in a tweet. Now I'm getting DMs from all these people saying they can get my account back and the only info they need is my username. Is this legit?

Third, initially when i filed a ticket i filed the wrong thing. I filed for account recovery because i didn't see the hacked option. Somebody emailed me back right away but their emails didn't make any sense and they absolutely mishandled my ticket. I then realized you have to file a different type of ticket for hack and the process is very complex and convoluted. It's been almost 48 hours and no one has responded to my ticket at all.

This is very distressing for many reasons, but especially because we were impacted by tornadoes and can't afford fraudulent charges on the credit cards.

Any advice at all is appreciated.

People offering to help are most likely runing a recovery scam on you. Dont give them any info. Can you see if any fraud purchases have been made?

The offers of help are fraud. Contact your credit card company and let them know your account has been compromised. You need a new card issued.

The same thing happened to me, whoever hacked your account probably tried to get refunded shop credit for the items you bought but they refunded original payment method instead. I got emails from Tiktok shop that they did this on my account but the refund was denied. I'm in the same boat, messaged support numerous times and no response besides an automated one. Do not go for or give money to anyone saying they can help get your account back, all scams.

And definitely get a new credit/debit card.

[email protected] for legal enquiries.

However I would HIGHLY recommend contacting your bank and reporting the breach so they can send you a new card and dispute any transactions because the hackers will join lives and send all your money to their other compromised accounts so they can extract it.
