If you download a video from TikTok they put a tiny delay on the sound.

I often download videos from TikTok in different ways and I‘m 100% certain that TikTok alters the videos if you download them through the app by detaching the sound from the vid a bit, creating an incentive for users to rather watch the vid on the app itself. Smart, but very annoying.
