I fr feel like quitting

I've been streaming since January, on all platforms. I post clips, I stay consistent. Everything people tell you about consistency i feel don't even matter. I post on tiktok the view to like ratio is horrible and even if it does do okay it stops at about 600 views. It feels like im fighting against tiktok itself. And I remember a new game came out i posted clips WAY before people even posted stuff about it and mine still did worse. This shit is disheartening, all it takes is 1 video but I cant even get 1 video off the fucking floor dawg.

You should quit.

If you’re posting solely to get attention and views, quit. This is not the field for you unless you enjoy making content

it took me like 3 years before i got a viral video, then i started going viral every 2 months or so, the key is posting about an event happening immediately, like when elon threw up the nazi salute i made a video and it got 73k likes within 36 hours

To act like consistency will give you the views you need to go viral is the same thought process as thinking playing the lotto every week will make you a millionaire. The only thing consistency will do for you is give you a better chance at going viral. If you don’t have a personality or unique angle in your videos/livestream you’re not going to magically get viewers just because your consistent.

It took me over a year to start to see real growth. What kind of videos are you doing?

The mindset is wrong.

You shouldn't be consistent. Just do it part time like twice a week. Dont do it full time if you're not seeing results. Waste of time. 2 good videos a week is better than 7 crap ones.

I mean I know nothing of social media but I imagine it follows the same lines of becoming a movie star, you can audition and practice and work your ass off but at the end of the day you’re gonna need a bit of networking and some luck to get started.

So keep on grinding and maybe add some collaborations in?
