Maximum attempts exceeded

Recently i’ve lost access to my tiktok login i’m unsure of the password and email, but i post videos of myself. When I go to use “friend recovery method” In the account recovery section it tells me everytime that i’ve had the maximum attempts exceeded and to please wait. But not once Have I been able to ask my friends to recover my account? does anyone know how long it takes for this prompt to go away?
