Why is my fyp and follow page so bad?

My fyp only shows me videos with like no likes or it only shows me ads or tik tok shop stuff. And then my follow page literally has nothing on it even tho I follow over 400 people. It's been doing this for months and I have no idea why. Is anyone else's like this?
