How to edit a video to align with TikTok sounds?

This question may be more general and include alternative softwares.

I make gaming videos and clip compilations, I’d like to time the clips more to the TikTok sounds I’m using.

TikTok sounds as I understand it has to be added after the fact when you’re editing on outside software (I use davinci).

It’s a little tough to edit as there’s no way that I know of to predict the way the sound will play after I’ve rendered the video and transferred it to mobile to put on TikTok.

Any tips for this?
