Worth it to change your niche after you get 10k followers to monetize your account?

Just wondering if it's worth it to change from one niche to another to monetize my account, or should I just start a new one.

The videos and slideshows I post now won't qualify and I mainly posted them to gain a following, now that I'm close to 10k followers could I switch to more of a daily life/ discussion page, even tho it's a completely different niche?

No. This is for a couple reasons. One, you could easily lose followers and not grow. Two, the monetization money you get from tiktok is way too low to justify basically destroying the community you’ve built up for what’s essentially chump change.
