Why is this acceptable in comments?

Racism in either direction is disgusting, but it seems racism against white people is acceptable. I understand the plight and struggles of black people in the US historically, but isn't this completely against "eliminating racism entirely"? I'm just confused about why this type of racism is acceptable on tik tok at all.

Because they think it's getting back at "Ol' Whitey" for what people did back in the 20th century.

Then they wonder why people want the South to "rise again".

We are stuck in a never ending cycle because of idiots and they don't know why.

I don't think YouTube comments are what we'd call a paragon of acceptability.

Im guessing you’re “yt” and offended by this. I think it’s hilarious, as a white person. This is taaaame compared to shit on other platforms. Instagram comments are BAD lol

white people really haven't been disenfranchised like other races (quite the opposite actually), so the history is completely different and really not worth worrying about much at all

Because racism is only acceptable if it's towards certain races.

Racism against whites is barely anything let’s be real.

You can't be racist to white people. Not the kind of racist you can be towards POCs. Whites lack millenia of systemic oppression and abuse. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Now, being prejudice against white people is absolutely a thing. I'm white and I'm prejudice against a lot of white Americans. Not defending this commenter because I have zero context, but the comment isn't inherently racist.
