Anyone know how to disable desktop keyboard shortcuts?

It is literally impossible for me to type a comment in the actual comment section, their current system scrolls to new videos as I type (I'm pretty sure it's spacebar triggering video advancement), if I want to comment I have to literally use notepad to type out my comment and copy-paste, this is crappy design at its finest... Anyone? I tried to search online but nothing actually relevant appeared.
