Anyone else get their account deactivated?

This happen to me when i posted my little cousin on my tiktok. I just appealed it then they asked for my id and i got my acc back

This happened to my dad for no reason when he tried to login to watch something my sister sent him. He never uses tiktok so he was confused and I had no idea what to do but apparently it let him use face recognition and verified it that way idk

You have to appeal and take a picture with your drivers license, I think. You should download your data just in case.

This happened to me back in 2022 when I took my age out of my bio. It doesn't have to do with the ban. I was able to submit a photo of my drivers' license and I got my account back.

Never got the notice they just kicked me out one day

Yeah, literally randomly for no reason. I've had my account for going on 6 years and I wasn't nearly below 13 then and I'm not now. I've given no indication to TikTok that I'm underage but they're not getting my ID just because they asked politely.

I feel like they're just doing it to collect a bunch of people's data, very strange behavior.
