I get aroun 1K views per video but followers are not coming. How to break it?

Hey, over a month ago I create a completely new account (in Europe)
I am making videos with my face in the form where I insert some joke or text on the screen - idk how it's called but it's one of the most popular form.

I avaregely gain 1K views (800-1100) per video, 60-150 likes and have gained only 8 followers in that period of time. There are two videos that hit 20K and 2 that went above 3k. I am trying to post at least one time a day, but usually it's two videos. Also, I am using VPN on the phone to hit UK population since I make it in English. My feed is English too, despite the fact that I travel and work in central Europe a lot.
I know "you content s**ks then", but do you think I should proceed or try and create a new account?
