I have some questions for this app.

Hi! So I don’t have TikTok anymore (for personal reasons) but when I did have it, I noticed some things like these, I came here to ask about this, because I was thinking getting a person who has TikTok’s perspective’s.

• Spamming “that’s too far” instead of not simply blocking. Like I get comments, specifically suggestions that are disguised as threats, obviously that’s gonna make somebody mad. But why do the replies always act like the commenter doxxed and killed the creator just for simply commenting something Bad?? I’m sure the creator wouldn’t be affected by a bad comment like that 99.99% of the time. (At least, I’d hope not). Also it doesn’t even have to be a threat necessarily, it could just be 3 letters (like the word “rot”) and people would go crazy in the replies?

• making the app into a mental health center. This is a big one. Just why? Like people would comment that they get “triggered” by a certain post, like it’s others responsibilities to be sensitive of a strangers triggers…

• making videos on problematic accounts (like racist accounts, which are 99% trolls). Yes, I agree racist joke accounts aren’t funny, but even giving them a bad reaction can make them feel like they’re “accomplishing” something. Those trolls like to stir up trouble and controversy. So you can’t really “call out” those people. Trust me, I’ve tried calling out an account like that and it just stirred up more Drama. Like there was a video about offensive things, but instead of reporting this person made a whole entire video about it, and naturally the comments were agreeing. (I was too) but at the same time a tiny part of me was wondering why not just block or report, or both?

• switching up- and this is a HUGE one. Somebody could be criticizing a certain type of person on a video (like people who make bed rotting into a “trend”. Then there was somebody who commented “I genuinely hate people who make bed rotting into trend they can rot” and the replies said “that’s too far…”. Then I asked how, and they said “just because somebody doesn’t understand a trend??” it’s like they switch up. They were acting like they weren’t just talking Terrible about fake bed rotters. And the comment wasn’t even aimed at a certain person which makes it even more Ridiculous.

It kinda reminds me of the twilight zone 😂

Again, sorry if this post came off as rude, but these things are extremely confusing. Like, I get calling out people, but it’s just not gonna work.

That’s what trolls/simply bad people love. They love to be called out because they think they’re somehow “achieving” something.

(I used to call out lots of bad people and it didn’t work, that’s how I Know.)
