How do you decide what gift goals to set on live?

I've had 2 successful lives recently. First one I made $40, second one i made $140. In the goal section it says "Your recommended coin amount per gift: 500". I stream for about 3.5 hours. What kind of goal should I be setting? Like which gifts how many of them. I ended up setting a goal of 3 crystal crowns (400 coins) about 4 times. I also set a goal of 100 roses maybe 5 times. All my goals were met. Am I under reaching? How do you decide?
