Okay for starters with you 'if you can't ban him just blank', this is not a tiktok support subreddit. Tick tock it is never going to see this message unless you post it to Twitter after tick tock support and even then it's very unlikely they're going to do a damn thing. Nobody can do anything here take it him and or a guideline violation or anything because nobody from here works at tiktok as far as I know.
Secondly, you couldn't intend to mass report but there's no guarantees that's going to accomplish anything. And people like this will always pop up with another account. You're going to constantly be playing scam account whack-a-mole. I know you want to help people on prevent them from being scammed and at least do something rather than nothing, but unfortunately beyond that there's nothing you can do that'll actually accomplish anything. I need to continue to mass report anyways, but all you can do from there is cross your fingers tiktok even gives a shit.
And third, unless this somehow hurts tik tok's reputation or bottom line or scares off their shareholders and investors, they don't have a reason to give a damn. It doesn't scare viewers are creators alike off of the platform, it does not upset their advertisers, help probably some of the advertisers are scammers as well, and as long as tiktoks getting paid they don't have to care. And you don't need to explain to me if this account is violating the guidelines or whatnot because that doesn't matter.
Big platforms like tiktok are just known for not enforcing their rules properly. And expecting them to do so is a waste of your time. They'll probably strike down a small Creator who just wants to be noticed doing the content they want to do that it's not the same regurgitated trendy bullshit over and over again before they'll worry about scam accounts. Do you bring that money? Do you cost them money? Is this anyway going to affect the bottom line or quotas or scare off their shareholders and advertisers? If no then don't even bother complaining about it. They don't care.
And until it happens to them or somebody they, the average person online is not going to care either. And let me restate that again, the average person. The average person that just lots and online, what is content, and goes about their day. Doesn't understand how the system works, how this is a scam, how we can negatively affect people, they just don't care if it just doesn't affect their day to day life.
And note that before you say people in this subreddit care, I'm not including them in the average people. Because most of these people in the subreddit here or just on Reddit and general are typically people that are online casually to regularly, to being chronically online. Anybody who here who cares is above the average person as far as being a regular internet user goes. The average internet user who does uses it casually and goes about their day does it care. Until what happens to them or somebody they care about, they don't care.
Mass report if you want to, but it's going to be a coin flip if tiktok does anything about it.
