First Brand Collaboration Offer on TikTok, Need Advice

Hey! I just got my first brand collaboration offer through TikTok and I’m not sure how to handle it. “Received notification in the TikTok app in the monetization section”

They’re offering £600 (negotiable) to post a sponsored video on my personal account. If they use my video as an ad, I’d earn 0.5% to 10% of their ad spend. They said they’ll send me the product first, but they haven’t told me what the product is yet.

Since this is my first time, I have a few questions: Is this kind of offer (base pay + ad spend %) typical? Is it normal that they didn’t say what the product is yet? What should I ask or confirm before accepting? Any red flags I should look out for?

Would love any advice from creators who’ve done brand deals before. Thanks!
