Why can't I suddenly chat my friends on tiktok?

This has been going on for a few days already, and my streak restoration is slowly running out. I don't know the reason why this happened, I tried fixing it by setting the direct messages to everyone, but the problem I have right now is there is no "Direct Message" option. Is there a way to fix this?
