Og tiktok was so good now its the worst social media app out there

By early 2020s i mean till around 2021, i remember this app so much differently back then, when i say everything got toxic i mean it literally everything, the music the content the people.

Look back at 2019 2020 look back at saved or liked videos, look at the trending content, there was no gender wars, no manosphere pill beliefs trending, no cringy edits that we have now with loud phonk music, music was better too it had this grunge pop vibe much calmer less toxic.

Comments too people went from much more supportive to now hating on everything, u could be the cringiest person alive and ppl would still love u, now say something slightly outdated or slightly cringy and ur a meme lol.

As far as i can remember this change happened around 2022 when manosphere pill beliefs became popular like the Tate brothers, and then a year later with the rise of the blackpill, and cant forget the cringy Brainrot, it has forever ruined the app.

All this rambling aside, ik for sure aint the only one who thinks like this, and for sure aint getting blinded by nostalgia, its such a shame how it went from a chill app to an app filled with brainrot.

Like dude one scroll and u see a brainrot video, 2nd scroll and its a politics video with the worst opinions known to mankind, 3rd scroll gender war, this app has been a failure for the past 3 years, the good era was 2018-2021 after that ehh trash.
