TikTok moderation is terrible, we get it.

"brain rot" is automatically removed, but often can be appealed. I recently commented "This is your great-great-grandparent's brain rot." On a video that showed some very strange animation from the 1920s or 30s. It was immediately removed, but I appealed and the comment was reinstated.

I wonder if I said it about a living individual person if it would have been reinstated. The appeal may have only been approved because it wasn't directed at a single person.

There was a TikTok video I saw yesterday of a girl saying that her spray tan made her look like fresh dog shit and laughing historically at how bad it was. I commented saying “girly, no hate but that made you look like Big Ed off of TLC” and immediately got in trouble.

TikTok hates when people play jokes on each other/when people join into jokes.

Tiktok is dead due to their constant censorship.

This DOESNT get immediately flagged, but when I comment something like “ugly” or “you look funny” it gets taken down sooner than I can comment.
