Liking and wanting men is being a pick me…? Smh

I have seen an influx of tik toks on my fyp that have (to me) have been over using or wrongly using the term “pick me” and “misogynistic” and it’s starting to drive me NUTS. Like I thought a pick me was just women who go to the extent of degrading or putting down women to make themselves stand out… I’ve seen post saying if u find a man funny or agree with a man, you’re a pick me. Since when is simply wanting a man or pursing a man a pick me or male centered…. Like.. am I missing something? Like trust me, I can’t stand men but unfortunately I still do like them sexually lmaooo. When I say I hate men, I’m talking about the podcast misogynistic weirdo men (which I feel are most men) and of course the rapist etc too but idk im just sick of the terms “girls girl” and “pick me” cus sometimes it’s hard to be a girls girls when a lot of these women out here have internalized misogyny fr but idk.
