So I watched a youtube tutorial on how to unlock gifs for tiktok comments and now it's asking me to download one of these apps. I just don't logically see why you need to download an app to unlock your account or for verification purposes I understand for adds or for in game currency for other games etc but I don't know if this will just install malware on my phone. I am not risking it. Anyone download these with no issue etc lmk

It’s a typical Affiliate Referral scam. They get money when you download those apps. It’s likely not stealing any data but nothing will happen.
