I set my account not to suggest to others and my videos & accounts are still appearing in their suggestions

So one of my videos on my accounts has gotten some traction. I specifically set not to suggest to others . It has always not been checked to not sync my contacts or Facebook. Yet people are following me I know. Which defeats the purpose of this specific account I have.

Am I doing something wrong?? Why is TikTok doing this.
