Can people see I visit their profiles or see their posts?

I never really used tiktok much, and I see that there's this option "profile views" that I have deactivated. Still, can people see I see their profiles or even watch their posts/ reposts? I guess they can't, but information in the internet is very confusing, AI tells you something, then people say the opposite, wtf.
