Videos no longer staying paused

On android, TikTok updated yesterday. Ever since I am now having issues when pausing a video where it will only stay paused for a few seconds then it starts playing again.

Before the update I could pause a video and it would stay paused until I started it again.

Now it just stops for a few seconds and starts playing again on its own.
