Can't minimize TikTok Live window on iPhone anymore?

I can usually join a Live, swipe up, and the window will remain minimized and playing in the top corner of my phone. This morning, I'm trying to do that and it's not working.

Is this happening to anyone else? Is this a known feature downgrade, or is there a way I can fix this?
