What normal things have you seen overly romanticized on tiktok?

I’ve been seeing videos on tiktok about “hot girl walks”…. and it’s literally just a girl on a morning walk lol. And I feel like this happens a lot through social media, especially with such a rise in influencers. Everyone always adds fun words to spice up a normal ass thing. But I’m curious if anyone else has seen videos or posts like this on social media or knows of something that falls under this.

I also just saw 2 posts that felt like they fit here: “i just learned about dopamine decor and i feel crazy” and then it defines dopamine decor as: the idea of decorating your space in a way that makes you feel good. This is literally just enjoying your living space…

and another one- “every tiktok is like ‘have you heard of the saturday theory’ and then it’s that people like to have fun on saturday” - which is literally exactly what im talking about lol

Yeah, how dare people try to enjoy life when you’re taught to do anything but. How dare they make cute and funny videos to get over the stress of doing everything and life going completely awful. How dare they make the little things fun and use nice words as motivation. It’s awful. What’s the world come to?

The hot girl walks are fine cause they’re encouraging people to live healthier and making that sound fun is a great idea! But I agree people on tik tok in general have a problem with trying to stick everything into a box with a nice neat label
