Can’t see reposts

For like the past year known I don’t see my friends reposts show up on my fyp, I’ll go to my friends account and go to their reposts and I don’t see that they reposted. When I make a new account it’ll be there till I restart the app. When I get the notification that someone reposted the same video that I reposted I don’t see it it’s just me that did. How do I fix this?
